Saint Patrick's College ((アイルランド語:Coláiste Padraig)) is an all-male secondary school. Located in County Cavan, Ireland. It was founded in 1871 as a minor and major seminary for the Diocese of Kilmore. The College building was designed by the well known Cavan born architect, William Hague. It was officially opened by Bishop of Kilmore Dr. Nicholas Conaty in 1874 for the Diocese of Kilmore, replacing St. Augustine's Seminary (Kilmore Academy) established by Dr. James Browne in 1839. Kilmore Academy had both clerical and non-clerical students, over 100 clerical students went on to Maynooth College to be priests.〔''The College Boys, Students of the Kilmore Academy and St Patrick’s College, Cavan 1839 - 2000'', by Raymond Dunne and Francis J.
